Greetings Bible Quiz Friends,
I am happy to announce that we WILL be hosting the annual Athens New Years Classic this year on January 8, 2022 at Athens Christian School. The tournament is a three-team double elimination tournament over Acts 1-28. We follow AACS rules (basically) but use the PQA quiz-out on 5 correct or 4 errors. The tournament is open to any students through grade 12.
If there is sufficient interest, we will hold a junior division tournament over Acts 1-14. The junior division will be open to any students through grade 8 (and 9th-grade first-year quizzers). The fee this year will be $100 for the first team and $50 for each additional team from the same ministry.
I would like to have a commitment from each group participating by December 15 if possible so I can work on details over the Christmas break, but will gladly accept additional teams up through January 5.
