Greetings Bible Quiz Friends,

I am happy to announce that we will again be hosting the annual Athens New Years Classic this year on January 6, 2024 at Athens Christian School.

The tournament is a three-team double elimination tournament over the Gospel of Matthew. We follow AACS rules (basically, with a few house rules thrown in). The tournament is open to any students through grade 12.

If there is sufficient interest, we will hold a junior division tournament over all the material, Matthew 1-28. The junior division will be open to any students through grade 8 (and 9th-grade first-year quizzers). Please contact me directly before December 8 if you want to enter a junior team.

The fee this year will be $100 for the first team and $50 for each additional team from the same ministry.

I would like to have a commitment from each group participating by December 15 if possible so I can work on details over the Christmas break, but will gladly accept additional teams up through January 4. Please return the attached registration form either by email or fax by December 15 if at all possible. Please do not send checks through the mail. Fees can be paid when you arrive using cash, check, credit card or Venmo.

We look forward to seeing many of you on January 6 as we ring in the New Year with an all-day Saturday Bible Quiz Tournament.
