ROUND 1 IN ROOM 109

For this quiz, we have IL on the left, WI in the middle, and NH on the right.  Not sure of the teams? current positions with highs and lows.

The room is full, the air is tense, and Mr. Woods had to leave due to allergies.

Question 1, IL is up and misses.  WI is up now? sounds unsure?. Gets it anyway for 20!
Question 2, WI jumps again, makes an error. Toss-up is won by NH, who, likewise, misses.  IL is offered a free questions and decides to take it for 10.

Question 2 is repeated.  WI jumps, again, sounds a little nervous?. Misses it.  Toss-up passed up by both teams.

Question 2repeated, again?. WI jumps to answer a quote this verse question correctly.

Question 3, IL is up, too much hesitation, don?t like the sound of it?. They miss it.  Toss up question- both teams are eager- but WI makes a foul for jumping too soon, get the toss-up anyway thereafter.
 
Question 4, WI jumps, and confidently answers for 20 points.

Question 5.  I will note, that this is shaping up to be a very slow quiz; 6 errors by question 5.  IL answers correctly.  

Question 6, WI gets it.

Question 7, IL answers correctly.

Question 8, IL jumps, was on a roll, but misses it.  WI, in turn, misses the toss-up.  NH jumps on the free and misses it as well.

IL calls a time out.  The score: IL 50, WI 90, NH 0.  IL and WI are in the error zone.

Question 8 repeated, quote two verses.  IL jumps and makes it.  It was, as a side note, Eph 2:8-9.

Question 9, IL jumps for an error.  NH misses the toss-up, and WI get the free.

Question 9, WI gets it for 20 points. 

Question 10, WI makes another.

Question 11, AND THEY MAKE ANOTHER!  We are finally on a roll of correctly answered questions?. IL challenges, slowing momentum?.  Challenge gets smacked down by the quizmaster.

Question 12, WI answers correctly.

Question 13, WI jumps again, but wayyy too soon.  Errors.  IL takes the toss-up for 20.

Question 14, IL jumps makes it.

IL calls the timeout at this point.  Score: IL 100, WI 170, and NH 0.

Question 15, WI answers correctly.

Question 16, WI answers correctly, and quizzer 3 quizzes out with 6 correct, and 2 wrong.

Question 17, WI is up and at it again, but makes an error.  NH jumps, pauses for a really long time, but makes it!  But WI makes a challenge?. A long challenge.  But it is overruled.  

Question 18, IL makes it for 20.

Question 19, IL makes another one.

Question 20, the quiz master, ?must needs? dip into the extra quiz question reserve.  IL jumps and quotes Gal 2:16 correctly!

So, at the end of the well fought battle, WI gets the high with 200, IL gets the middle with 160, and NH gets the low with either 10 or 20.  That was, unfortunately, NH?s second low, which means that this tourney is over for them.
