Back in Mr. Douglas's room again This time with New York, Tennessee and New Jersey. Last quiz was in record time, our luck will be that this is an errorfest. We start with a finish questions and NY gets it right. Q2 has NJ winning the jump and getting it right Q3 is won by Kelton for Tn but he is real hesitant about it and gets it wrong Nj wins the tossup and gets it wrong. Both of them were in the wrong book. the free question goes to NY but he misunderstands the question. Q3 repeated goes to Nj but he runs out of time. Tn gets the tossup Q4 is won by Kelton from Tn and he is very hesitant again and takes an error The tossup goes to NY but she misses it as well. NJ takes the free question for 10 points. Ny jumps on the reference for Q4 repeated and struggles to figure out what the question is. Tn wins the jump for the tossup and Kelton gets close but gives too much information and misses. NJ gets another free question and wins 10 more points. After 4 questions we already have twice as many errors as the entire last quiz MJ gets Q4 repeated and NY gets Q5 so hopefully we are back on track Ny gets a finish on Q6 and Tn gets a quote on Q7 After 7 its NJ 60, Tn 40 and NY 60 Tn correctly answers Q8 to tie the score at 60 apiece We have our first foul on Q9 and NY wins the jump but misses. tn wins the tossup jump and correctly answers to take the lead. NY wins the jump on Q10 but is struggling to get to the question and misses Josh for Tn gets the tossup correct NY correctly answers Q11 but NJ wants to challenge. Mr. Douglas does not accept the challenge. Q12 is a finish and NY gets it correct Josh for Tn wins the jump on "Where is the mystery" and gets it correct Q14 is misread so we have to do it again Tn gets it correct on the retry and NY takes a timeout. We are on Question 15 and teh score is NJ 60, TN 1240 adn NY 90 Nj already has a low and therefore are facing elimination, so the pressure is on them. Back from the timeout, Tn misses Q15 and NY misses the tossup. NJ has another free. The need to take advantage of these opportunities. NJ gets the free and NY is over limit of errors and is losing points. Ny misses Q16 and NJ gets it correct to jump out in front of NY. After 16 its NJ 90 Tn 130 and NY 70 Back from the timeout, NY wins the jump but he looks very nervous. His answer is incorrect for the error. Tn also gets a little talking to about communicating during the quizzing. NJ misses the tossup to stay 20 points ahead of NY. Tn gets the free question Q 16 repeated is won by NJ and it is correct to pull 40 points away from NY. but NY fights back on Q17 to pull within 20 Nj wins the jump on Q18 but is incorrect, and NY gets the tossup to go ahead of NJ Ny gets Q19 to go 30 points ahead NJ gets Q20 but it is not enough to pull out the middle 15 errors so I feel like a prophet from my initial statement. But I guess it could have been worse. the final was NJ 110 Tn 140 NY 120
