Quiz 4 KS vs. TN vs. IN Tennessee had the best record last year, but they also came in with only three quizzers. Dr. West was supposed to quizmaster, but due to his fixing computer issues in other rooms, we thought Mr. Zacharias would be the quizmaster. Dr. West poked his head in the room at about 7:59:59 and announced he would be done in five minutes and we should not start without him. In the early going, Kelton from Tennessee seemed to get every question. He had 4 correct and 2 errors after five questions. The free questions gave Kansas points, but Indiana looked like they were getting up on every question. As Kelton slowed down, Indiana began to get more questions and as the quiz moved on, it became clear that without Kelton, Indiana might have the upper hand. After five questions, TN 80, IN 20, KS 20. From about question 7 to question 15, Indiana scored the most, Tennessee held pace with Kansas, but with the big lead provided by Kelton, they were still far ahead of Kansas. Indiana got 5 of the nine questions to bring their total score to 120. After 15 questions, TN 120, IN 120, KS 70 As we entered the error zone, Indiana had drawn even with Tennessee. With Kelton having only two questions left, Indiana might be able to sneak the high win and the easier bracket. But Tennessee had another quizzer answer a question and Kelton could secure the high win on his own. He answered question 20, which gave him six questions and gave Tennessee the high win over Indiana (180-160). Final Score: TN 180, IN 160, KS 70
