As our third scorekeeper, Darren, got familiar with his first exposure
to bible quizzing,  quiz fifteen starts with Florida and Kentucky with
errors and Virginia getting the free question as Question one is
repeated. Question 6 comes around, with the score of Virginia 30,
Kentucky, 80, Florida 20. Florida has come into this quiz with 2
middles, Kentucky comes in with 2 middle and Virginia with 2 middle
and 1 low. The pace of this quiz is slower, as all three teams are
well versed, appealing nearly every question, quoting small sections
of the passage, more than a verse at a time, showing they've taken
scripture as more than just words but have taken time to study the
meaning through the passages. At question #12, Virginia calls a time
out, over 25 minutes having elapsed in this round so far. The Score
Virginia 30, Kentucky 140, Florida 110 at question 14, but quickly
turned around by question 16, Virginia 40, Kentucky 130, Florida 130.
Kentucky calls a time out. Olivia from Kentucky and Kat from Florida
are both at 5 Correct going into Question 18, the tension mounted as
the teams are tied. Kat Jumps on the toss up, Quizzing out and putting
Florida in the lead. Question 19 is worded, as Olivia jumps for
Kentucky, correct, quizzing out and replaced by Ashley. The teams of
Kentucky and Florida are Tied at 150 as Virginia jumps and gets and
error on question 20. The Toss up question. "Why were the Corinthians
coming t...." Kentucky jumps, finishing the word, but the question is
thrown out by the quizmaster. Florida jumps on question 20 "What is
Expedient" answering "all things". Incorrect. Virginia takes the toss
up. Also incorrect. Kentucky takes the Free question, and a 20 point
lead as question 20 is repeated. "We would rather be absent" Kentucky
jumps for an Error. Followed by a quick jump from Florida. Also an
Error. Free question is given to Virginia. Correct! The score is now
Virginia 60, Kentucky 150, Florida 130. "Finish the Verse. If any man
love no..." Virginia takes the Jumps. Error. Kentucky takes the Tossup....
And CORRECT!. Kentucky Takes the High with 170, Florida takes another
Middle with 130, and Virginia takes it's second loss with 30.
