Indiana-Tennessee-Kentucky Kentucky and Indiana both have a low coming into this quiz Kentucky and Tennessee both miss on the initial and rebound of 1 and 1 repeated, and Indiana gets both their frees. Cullen (Tennessee) gets 1 repeated correct, and Ashley (Kentucky) gets the initial of 2 correct, as well as guessing the right part of a 50-50 on question 3. Cullen tries for 4, but is incorrect; Kentucky picks up the rebound. On question 5, Ashley jumps and gets 20 points for Kentucky. The score after 5: 20-20-80 Reid (Indiana) jumps on the initial of 6, but gets it wrong; Arianna (Tennessee) gets the rebound. Ashley gets the initial of 7 wrong, and Reid picks up the rebound for Indiana. Cullen gets the initial of 8 wrong, but Ashley jumps on the rebound and is ruled correct; Reid challenges, but is denied. A lot of wrong initial and correct toss-ups here! Reid gets an initial right on 9. On 10, Grant (Tennessee) gets the initial incorrect, but Isaac (Kentucky) picks up 20 points for his team. The score after 10: 50-20-120 Arianna (Tennessee) gets 11 right for Tennessee; Indiana jumps on 12 and is ruled incorrect, so Arianna jumps on the rebound and gets it. On question 13, Glory (Kentucky) jumps but can’t think of the answer, so Arianna gets the rebound for Tennessee. Both Kentucky and Tennessee miss on question 14, and Indiana gets the free correct, despite a wacky question! After the timeout at Question 14, it was very close with Tennessee having 70 and Indiana 60 and Kentucky 100. Tennessee got up on the first two. The missed the second one, which was a 50/50 (What kind of tree?--either good or evil). They missed it and Kenucky got the tossup, giving them a big lead heading into the error zone. If kentucky is smart, they will sit, as the worst thing they could get is a three way tie. Indiana 60 - Tennessee 80 - Kentucky 120 Cullen got up on a finish three verse question and ran out of time. No takers on the tossup. Kentucky decided to sit strategically. Unfortunately, that was 6 errors for Cullen. His departure seemed to pave the way for Grant to get one. As he and Indiana 4 went back and forth. Unfortunately, one of Mr. Balka's answers was incorrect. So, Indiana called a timeout after question 18, where they were 20 points ahead of Tennessee. Indiana 100 - Tennessee 80 - Kentucky 120 Ariana got up first on a question that if she missed, her team would be out (assuming smart quizzing) and if she got it, it would come down to the final question. Unfortunately, she missed a 50/50, and the other two teams lead Tennessee by 50 at the end. Kentucky got question 20 to assure the high win. Indiana 120 - Tennessee 70 - Kentucky 140
