What are everyones predictions for Nationals and Scqanit.
My predictions for Scqanit are First, New York; Second, Kentucky; Third Calvery SC.
For Nationals is, First, Kentucky; Second New York; Third, Calvery FL.
This is not including my team.

KY won it last year for the third year in a row. KY and NY have placed 1 and 2 at SCQANIT 3 years in a row as well…c'mon people!!!  I'll say NY makes top three at each tourney but I'm not making any predictions as to what the final outcome will be. It could go either way. Wish I could be there

I'd say the top 3 teams right now are KY, NY, and Faith SC in no particular order. Muckwonago or however you spell that might be dangerous as well judging on how they quized at Michigan. Hampton Park and Calvary SC are good, but I don't see them making the top three. And not all the same teams are going to be at both, so it's hard to make predictions. I didn't realize NY had taken 2nd 3 years running at Scqanit. How have they done at Nationals? I think we(Old Paths) have a good chance at making the top three at both, but I guess we'll see how things go.

And by the way, there is one prediction I'll make. KY's streak of 3 straight Nationals wins ends this year.

NY has finished a rather disappointing 5th at Nationals the last two years. (I say disappointing because I was on those teams!) I'm with you, Luke…I thought KY was beatable the last two years, but they managed to pull it off every time. And I hear you Old Paths people are pretty good this year!

I only remember you taking 5th two years ago, but couldn't remember the rest. I thought you had been in the finals recently, but I guess not. I've been to Nationals twice, our team taking tenth and fourth. I think it's a lot harder quiz due to the questions, the back-to-back quiz days, and the pressure of the last quiz of the year. Me and 2 other quizzers are seniors this year, so for us its our last shot!

No, I took the year off. I missed quizzing more than I thought I would, so I came back for my senior year. I talked to our coach last night and it looks like we are. He wants to drive up Saterday morning, so we'd leave at like 4:00 and then quiz after 4-5 hours of driving, but I'd like to quiz once more before Nationals and sqanit.

NOBODY wants to study that early.  Well, it will be great to see you guys again! I have this weekend off so I'm planning to go. I haven't been near a quiz practice or tourney since Nationals last year….that is hard to believe!
