After some hesitation, the eager quizzer answers the question wrong. Illinois quickly gives the right answer and obtains the first points. On question 4, Tennessee tries again and succeeds. They try again on the next question quoting Matthew 13:27 but fail to quote. The rebound is quickly passed to Indiana. The fast pace of the round is definitely evident in the room and helps the round to pass quickly. After Tennessee tries to answer again but fails, Illinois correctly answers and continues soaring up to advance. Indiana answers multiple questions in a row, bringing their score above Illinois. Tennessee is still struggling to answer correctly, but after a few jumps they begin to catch up with the other teams. Tennessee and Indiana are now tied, with Illinois not far behind. After answering many questions correctly in a row, it seems that Tennessee has gained confidence and they begin to pull ahead. Illinois calls a time out before the 12th question is asked. It seems they are assessing their strategy. Once they are all seated again, each team seems to be ready to answer every question in a heartbeat. Tennessee quickly responds and seems to pull the answer out of thin air. Illinois tries yet again to get ahead by quoting Matthew 9:16. After some hesitation, the quizzer starts quoting but runs out of time. Ever ready, Indiana jumps on the question, but leaves out a word. The question is then thrown out. On question 14, first Illinois tries, and then Indiana, but only after the toss-up is given, and Tennessee correctly answers the question. The judges discuss the answer to question 15. There seems to be some confusion, but after some time, the quizmaster gives the points to Indiana. Quizzer number 1 yet again correctly quotes a verse and pulls his team ahead. The teams seem to be anxious to answer the questions, but finally after three fouls for Illinois and Tennessee the question is answered. Quizzer 1 quizzes out on the 19th question and Indiana is left without their star quizzer. But this doesn’t seem to phase Indiana, they pull ahead and win the round with 200 points, Tennessee having 140 and Illinois with 40 points.
